We’ve seen lot of cars with built in GPS system. But not one with Google Earth Navigation system built into it. The Audi A8 now comes fully loaded with Google Earth GPS, fitted right into the LCD screen in the car, the Google Earth application will let owners look at 3D satellite imagery, terrain information, and even additional info layers such as Wikipedia articles or images related to a certain location.

Audi A8’s system will also feature Google Maps + Local Search + the ability to link it all with your desktop computer and access the Google Information. To save time, you can simply search for an address on your computer and send it to the car; when you start driving, the car will know where to go . Isn’t that cool now? It’s as if now is the future with Google Technology.

Recently we informed you that Google would post the images regularly through a XML file.

Now after a month of publishing, Google has released a lot of new pictures from Mars on Google Earth 5.

As of now the updates on the Google Earth is available in a file that shows the updates closely.

About a month ago, Google released new images for Google Earth and updated the imagery of many locations. Google now wants to change the rhythm, and frequently publish new recordings of Google earth.

Now you don’t have to answer quizzes to know the new locations. Google Earth now has made available a file with all the updated pictures in red. You can grab the file at http://mw1.google.com/mw-earth-vectordb/Imagery_Updates/imagery_updates.kml.

If you have installed Google Earth plug-in you can see the updated areas automatically.

Earlier this year, released Google, the fifth version of Google Earth. New features were, for example, Google Ocean, the integration of Mars and older satellite images. Only a little over two months, Google sun has been integrated. Yesterday evening was to release the next version of Google Earth, which brings no new features, but should work much faster.

Google Earth 5.1 will have one by 25% shorter startup time. Improvements under the hood to make better use of storage memories and the images will load faster. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) took a huge leap into satellite imagery of geographical regions with the launch of `Bhuvan’, India’s mapping application website. Similar to Google Earth or Wikimapia, Bhuvan goes a step ahead. The application allows users to zoom far closer than the aerial view from a chopper.

Here’s is an inside look into Google Earth’s Indian competitor.
Bhuvan is a web-based 3D mapping tool which uses images taken over a year by ISRO’s seven remote sensing satellites, including Cartosat-1 and Cartosat-2.

The application will allow users to have a closer look at any part of the subcontinent barring sensitive locations such as military and nuclear installations. The satellites can capture images of objects as small as a car on a road.

This would provide a user with images having resolution up to 10 m. The degree of resolution showcased is based on points of interest and popularity, but most of the Indian terrain is covered upto at least six meters of resolution with the least spatial resolution being 55 meters.

Like Google Earth, Bhuvan will allow users to view cities and other places of interest looking perpendicularly down or at an oblique angle, with different perspectives.

- Provides Shadow Analysis; sets the sun position based on the given time creating shadows and effects the lighting on the terrain
- 2D and 3D image data of Indian Cities, Towns and Villages with information on Soil, wasteland and water resources.

- Population and other factual data about places.

A moon landing is the arrival of a spacecraft on the surface of a planet’s natural satellite, and in this case, refers specifically to landings on the lunar surface of Earth’s Moon. This includes both manned and unmanned (robotic) missions. The first human-made object to reach the surface of the Moon was the Soviet Union’s Luna 2 mission on September 13, 1959. The United States’s Apollo 11 mission was the first manned spacecraft to land on the Moon on July 20, 1969.
