Google chrome beta
Google today announced and released Google Chrome as a beta version 2.0. Google Chrome 2.0 Beta brings around almost all the features that has been around since the last version in the development.

In December, Google took the ‘BETA’ label off our first version of the Google Chrome browser. Since then, we have continued to release fixes and updates to this version, while building and testing new browser improvements in our developer releases. Now, we’re ready to roll out the next beta of Google Chrome to get some early feedback on features that are still being polished.

The new changes \ features in Google chrome 2.0 beta are:

  • Full Screen
  • Profiles
  • Auto-Completion
  • Improved drag & drop
  • Grease-Monkey (currently only through a command line)

About the Beta channel on Google Chrome:

In the beta channel Google publishes new features for its Google Chrome browser that were previously in the Dev channel, which have been tested, very stable and almost fully integrated. These versions are more stable than the Dev channel. To access the beta-channel switch, you have this program and run the option “Beta” option. Then you get an update once a month .

Google will be stabilizing the features and fixing the bugs until it’s good enough for the Stable channel. If you’ve been waiting for something more stable than the Dev channel to try out new Google Chrome features, you can switch to the Beta channel now.
